Modernista

Modernista was founded in 1999 with the aim of creating a unique shop in the Czech Republic, which will offer the best of Czech design of the last 100 years. Today Modernista with its network of shops is the most significant of its kind in the market of design objects. It focuses on selling authorized replicas of important artists of the first half of the 20th century, but also offers contemporary design - especially glass, porcelain and jewelry. Modernista has long collaborated with the Museum of Art and Industry (UPM), with whom he has brought to life an exclusive reissue of the Cubist collection, furniture and home accessories by Pavel Janák, Josef Gočár and Rudolf Stockar. The portfolio also includes replicas of wooden toys by Ladislav Sutnar, Václav Špála and Jožka Baruch.
